How it is built

Time-aware neural pathways
Conversations become pathways that activate one another — and every pathway carries WHEN as well as what. One that proved useful strengthens, one that fired into nothing fades, and recall is activation spreading across what is left. That is why a question about money can surface something you said about a job, and why a deadline in one part of your life can wake the part that should react to it.
The right model for each job
Conversation, background reasoning and live voice run on different models behind one interface. When a provider retires a model — or moves an endpoint — one registry changes and the product does not notice.
Every account is its own world
Every query, action and endpoint is scoped to a single user. That is an architectural rule enforced in the code, not an item on a checklist.
Every AI call is priced
Model, tokens and cost are recorded per call. Where a call cannot be priced it stays unknown rather than quietly becoming zero — a number we do not have is never shown as a number we do.
A daily pass reads what production actually did, rather than what the tests claim. Anything that recurs becomes a gate in the build — not a note in a document.

An AI research and development company
What we research is living AI, and Neural Intelligence Ltd designs that architecture itself rather than wrapping someone else’s. Lumina Nexus is System 01: the first production system to come out of the research, and the reason the research has to hold.
Living AI — not automation, not another agent
A model learns by being retrained: a dataset, a fine-tuning run, an engineer. She learns from one sentence, the first time you say it, and still has it months later. An automation runs the script you wrote; an agent runs one it wrote itself; neither notices when it was wrong. She watches her own reasoning — when she fails to recall something you told her, she goes back through the conversation, works out how it should have been filed, and files everything like it from then on. She knows her own internal state well enough to say what is working right now instead of promising and failing. She learns from her own mistakes, and she grows into the one person using her.
Our own architecture
Time-aware neural pathways, a POML neural substrate, a Hebbian synapse engine, and a chromatic index that scores how strongly a piece of evidence supports a claim — designed here, written here, running in production here. The ideas are the asset; the product is the proof they hold.
Independent of any one lab
Four model providers answer inside one system, each behind its own registry entry. When a provider retires a model or moves an endpoint, one file changes and the product does not notice. We are nobody’s reseller.
Research that has to survive real users
Nothing here is judged in a demo. A daily pass reads what the live system actually did, and anything that recurs becomes a gate in the build rather than a line in a document nobody opens.

Memory, skills, scheduling and the model registry are deliberately separable from Lumina itself. The next systems are built on the same substrate — which is what makes this a company rather than a single app.
